Ocean Grand City Beach, Display Suite

As part of Blackburne’s landmark Ocean Grand development in City Beach, Mondoluce partnered with MJA Studio and Blackburne to craft a refined architectural lighting solution for the project’s display suite. The design intent was to create an environment that mirrors the warmth, sophistication, and coastal elegance of the final development, while enhancing the visitor experience through thoughtful illumination.

Guided by key principles of wall washing, accenting, and indirect lighting, the scheme was developed to bring depth and balance to the space. A 3000K colour temperature was selected to harmonise with the interior’s warm material palette, reinforcing the project’s natural tones and relaxed coastal character.

The result is a layered lighting composition that seamlessly blends function and ambience, supporting the architectural intent, accentuating materiality, and presenting a cohesive, premium display environment that reflects Blackburne’s design vision.
