Kreon – Light + Building 2012
The next brand on the Mondoluce Light + Building Fair excursion was Kreon. Based in Belgium, Kreon have been developing and producing architectural lighting systems since 1982. The exhibition stand had a warm, open and inviting atmosphere around it created by its minimal design and seamless integration of its products that fade away in its surroundings which left the light itself to steal the show.
Kreon introduced a number of new products at this year’s fair such as the Up in-Line LED range which are IP67 rated recessed floor luminaires with a trimless finish, suitable for interior and exterior use. They are available in square or circular versions, finished in white or black and have a variety of light beam options, offering designers a great flexibility in projects.
Also on display was the Rei LED range of internal surface mounted and recessed luminaires for walls or ceilings. Rei is a lighting system with a slim profile for illuminating surfaces utilizing high powered LEDs that combine energy efficiency and glare control.
