Celebrating Light + Life 2021
What a wonder-filled evening to celebrate the year with great people, food and games!!!
Right from the outset, it was clear the Mondo Pop Quiz had set the competitive tone for the night. But there could only be one winner for the main prize of the Segway electric scooter and helmet, with Martin Klaasen (Klaasen Lighting Design) taking out the coveted prize.
Special thanks to Bret White from COX Architecture, for his kind words on Gerry’s and Mondoluce’s contribution to the design community, lighting landscape in Perth and the focus on building strong relationships within the industry we operate in.
Once the formalities were done, the announcement of the games brought about a fierce rivalry for both Cornhole and Darts. Cornhole came down to a corn-off with Navina Goericke (Hillam Architects) eventually taking out the Crown Voucher. Mondo Darts went down to the last target (with a little helping hand from the ML team). It was clear that skill was required to hit the right target and after hosting several rounds, Alita Ngo (Carabiner Architects) wining the iPad mini.
Mondoluce would like to take this opportunity to wish all our partners in light, an illuminating Christmas and a safe festive holiday. We look forward to forging ahead in 2022.
