Florence Hummerston Reserve

Project Outline

Florence Hummerston Reserve located on the corner of St Georges Terrace & Mount Street has recently undergone major enhancement works giving it a new lease on life. A small but highly valued park at the west end of the city has a range of new features such as new seating, artwork, garden beds, pathways and lighting.

Wood & Grieve Engineers with application support from Mondoluce came up with a lighting design that best suited the reserve’s natural environment.

The iGuzzini Ledplus marker lights were utilised on the stairs leading onto the seating areas which also illuminated by the iGuzzini Flaminia post tops. The iGuzzini Euclide bollards help provide a comfortable low glare light source along the new pathways and garden beds. While the iGuzzini Light Up Walk Professional and the Ligman Annet help emphasize the intriguing artwork sculpture & fountain area within the reserve.

The overall outcome is a truly special and welcoming space that allows for a larger number people wanting to enjoy this vibrant urban oasis.
