Eastern Breakwater Geraldton
Project Outline
Eastern Breakwater of Geraldton Port, was created to anchor the west end of Geraldton’s Foreshore. Also offering stunning views over the Port and Champion Bay from an iconic viewing platform structure.
This award winning project was designed by Blackwell and Associates, and project-managed by the City or Greater Geraldton. The lighting design was a primary consideration in order to extend public access into the evening.
Decorative pole-mounted iGuzzini Lavinia LED lighting was selected to illuminate the lookout and shade-structures due to the minimal maintenance required. Innovative use of iGuzzini Ledplus LED recessed luminaires feature on the viewing platform in addition to marker bollard lights. iGuzzini iPro flood lights were placed to give a wash of light throughout the site creating a safe environment for the public to utilise during the evening hours.
