Palace Arcade Fremantle lights up!

“This one has been about how to do commercial fit-outs properly and working with a good builder and designer,” says Saran Bajaj, one of the directors behind Palace Arcade. Palace’s other directors include Daniel Moore and Bajaj’s brother, Gaurav. “This one’s the first one we feel like we kind of got right. A lot of the other venues we tried to cram in as many games as we could, and I think it kind of affected patrons’ comfort.”
Joining the Bajaj brothers and Moore in bringing Palace Arcade to Fremantle is a crew of trusted collaborators that includes group manager Will Clarke-Tuck, food director Elliott Sawiris, and bar manager Anders McCann. Mata Design (Vincent, Short Order, Kailis Fish Market) is behind the fresh-faced look of the space that includes an in-ground offset tile mosaic, pendant lighting, and exposed brick walls and ceiling.
