Project Detail

Starwood/Marriott
The Westin Perth

The Westin Perth is the city’s newest five-star hotel built on The Department of Fire and Emergency Services Headquarters in the Perth CBD. The site is in close proximity to Elizabeth Quay, Hay and Murray St malls and Optus Stadium, making it ideal for a relaxing staycation for locals while still appealing to business and leisure travelers.

The fitout of this stylish 368 room hotel includes a lap pool, ballroom and conference rooms, day spa and restaurant which feature lots of natural light in the most public spaces with discrete artificial lighting at night to retain the ambience and luxury of a five-star hotel.

The iGuzzini Laser Blade and Laser Blade In Out were selected for the minimal appearance and almost invisible effect in the lift lobby, port cochere and alfresco seating areas of the Westin. These spaces needed to be lit to compliance for safe movement, especially the port cochere, for valet parking and concierge, whilst still achieving the brief of hotel ambience and sophistication.

Mondoluce were involved in the design and construct procurement process with Melchor and BGC to assist in achieving an upmarket result for a competitive price.
