The Westin Perth
Project Outline
The Westin Perth is a five-star hotel built on The Department of Fire and Emergency Services Headquarters in the Perth CBD.
The site is in close proximity to Elizabeth Quay, Hay and Murray St malls and Optus Stadium. While location makes it ideal for a relaxing staycation for locals it also appeals to business and leisure travellers.
The fitout of this stylish 368 room hotel includes a lap pool, ballroom and conference rooms, day spa and restaurant. Whilst public spaces are filled with natural light, discrete artificial lighting assists in retaining the ambience at night.
The iGuzzini Laser Blade and Laser Blade In Out were selected for the minimal appearance and almost invisible effect in the lift lobby, port cochere and alfresco seating areas of the Westin. Significant importance is given to compliance for safe movement, in particular the port cochere, for valet parking and concierge. Meanwhile, the lighting still achieves the brief of hotel ambience and sophistication.
Mondoluce collaborated in the design and construct procurement process with Melchor and BGC resulting in an upmarket result.
