Ruud Lighting's Founder on Cree's Acquisition of BetaLED

 In Al Ruud's mind, lines had to be drawn: You're for LED, or you're against it. To prove his commitment to the cause - the LED revolution - in a blockbuster industry move last week, he sold his company, including BetaLED, for a cool $525 million to chip and component manufacturer Cree.
